Expressive Art Therapy
Creativity heals when words are not enough
Expressive Art Therapy uses creative modalities such as drawing, painting, storytelling, music, movement, and play to help children express thoughts and emotions that may be difficult to communicate verbally. This therapeutic approach supports emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience in a safe and supportive environment. Sessions are individualized and developmentally appropriate, helping children process experiences, build coping skills, and strengthen social-emotional development.
We see children and teenagers with a variety of emotional and developmental needs such as:
Emotional regulation difficulties
Anxiety and fears
Low self-esteem
Social difficulties and peer relationship problems
Behavioural challenges
Trauma-related experiences
Difficulty expressing thoughts and feelings verbally
